hypercube \hypercube\ n.
A mathematical object existing in more than three dimensions,
analogous to the cube in that each two-dimensional facet of
the surface is a square; a generalization of a cube in more
than three dimensions.
[PJC]

A cube of more than three dimensions. A single (2^0 = 1)
point (or "node") can be considered as a zero dimensional
cube, two (2^1) nodes joined by a line (or "edge") are a one
dimensional cube, four (2^2) nodes arranged in a square are a
two dimensional cube and eight (2^3) nodes are an ordinary
three dimensional cube. Continuing this geometric
progression, the first hypercube has 2^4 = 16 nodes and is a
four dimensional shape (a "four-cube") and an N dimensional
cube has 2^N nodes (an "N-cube"). To make an N1 dimensional
cube, take two N dimensional cubes and join each node on one
cube to the corresponding node on the other. A four-cube can
be visualised as a three-cube with a smaller three-cube
centred inside it with edges radiating diagonally out (in the
fourth dimension) from each node on the inner cube to the
corresponding node on the outer cube.

Each node in an N dimensional cube is directly connected to N
other nodes. We can identify each node by a set of N
{Cartesian coordinates} where each coordinate is either zero
or one. Two node will be directly connected if they differ in
only one coordinate.

The simple, regular geometrical structure and the close
relationship between the coordinate system and binary numbers
make the hypercube an appropriate topology for a parallel
computer interconnection network. The fact that the number of
directly connected, "nearest neighbour", nodes increases with
the total size of the network is also highly desirable for a
{parallel computer}.

  • Cache-Control header - HTTP | MDN
The HTTP Cache-Control header holds directives (instructions) in both requests and responses that control caching in browsers and shared caches (e g , Proxies, CDNs)
  • Is there a lt;meta gt; tag to turn off caching in all browsers?
I found that Chrome responds better to Cache-Control: no-cache (100% conditional requests afterwards) "no-store" sometimes loaded from cache without even attempting a conditional request Firefox responds better to "no-store" but still sometimes loads from cache if you reload immediately afterwords What a mess!
  • CacheControlHeaderValue. NoCache Property (System. Net. Http. Headers)
Remarks This property represents the "no-cache" directive in a cache-control header field on an HTTP request or HTTP response When the NoCache property is set to true present in a HTTP request message, an application should forward the request toward the origin server even if it has a cached copy of what is being requested
  • Cache directive no-cache | An explaination of the HTTP Cache-Control . . .
Cache directive "no-cache" An explaination of the HTTP Cache-Control header The Cache-Control header is used to specify directives for caching mechanisms in both HTTP requests and responses A typical header looks like this Cache-Control: public, max-age=10 public Indicates that the response may be cached by any cache private
  • One Click No Cache (OCNC) - Chrome Web Store
One Click No Cache (OCNC) is a lightweight and user-friendly Chrome extension that helps you chrome clear cache with a single click Perfect for developers, testers, and anyone who needs to refresh web pages without cached data, OCNC eliminates the hassle of clearing cache manually
  • Cache-Control - Expert Guide to HTTP headers
Responses without any cache headers are heuristically cacheable by default for certain status codes, so origins wanting to prevent caching entirely need to send no-store explicitly Bingbot sends Cache-Control: no-cache on requests and relies on crawl-delay in robots txt and IndexNow for crawl pacing
  • nocache - npm
Middleware to destroy caching Latest version: 4 0 0, last published: 3 years ago Start using nocache in your project by running `npm i nocache` There are 495 other projects in the npm registry using nocache
  • Whats with all the cache nocache stuff and weird filenames?
The nocache js file contains JavaScript code that resolves the Deferred Binding configurations (such as browser detection, for instance) and then uses a lookup table generated by the GWT Compiler to locate one of the cache html files to use
  • Why both no-cache and no-store should be used in HTTP response?
The no-cache directive in a response indicates that the response must not be used to serve a subsequent request i e the cache must not display a response that has this directive set in the header but must let the server serve the request
  • GitHub - Feh nocache: minimize caching effects
nocache - minimize filesystem caching effects The nocache tool tries to minimize the effect an application has on the Linux file system cache This is done by intercepting the open and close system calls and calling posix_fadvise with the POSIX_FADV_DONTNEED parameter
