    Stretching is a misleading term, because the piercing isn’t JUST stretching When we stretch a piercing, we are making tiny little tears in the fistula (the tube of scar tissue that is your piercing) and rebuilding tissue in their place This is why we recommend giving yourself at least 2-3 months in between sizes to give yourself enough time to grow that tissue and ensure a smooth transfer
